Oh my god! thank you! I came to your blog after reading your comment on roger ebert's oscar prediction journal entry and I could not agree with you more. Many critics have been calling it a great film, but I think it is hands down the greatest! If it doesn't AT LEAST get an actress nod for kirsten, let alone a best picture nod, I will personally boycott the academy awards for life!!!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I've always thought of the Academy in high regard, but not nominating Melancholia would be a huge mistake. I don't mind if something else wins, The Artist and The Descendants are both worthy films, but Melancholia absolutely deserves a nomination.
